How do I apply to be a Presenter/teach at the Mammoth Yoga Festival?
MYF does not have an open application process. Presenter selection is by invitation only. If you are connected to a yoga studio, and your studio is interested in partnering with the festival, check out our studio partner interest page for more info.

Can I receive Continuing Education Credits for Yoga Alliance, and how?
For more information and instructions on logging hours, click here. Yoga Alliance allows Registered Yoga Teachers to submit all contact/non-contact hours taken.

Where can I purchase my pass?
Purchase your pass here. When the schedule is released, you'll receive an email from sched.com inviting you to create an account where you can create your Festival schedule once we have released the live schedule. Make sure, if you're getting more than one pass, that each has a unique email associated with it so that you can each create different schedules. Also, be sure to add @sched.com to your ‘inbox’ folder so that your invitation to schedule doesn’t go to spam.

How do I create my schedule?
Once you've purchased your pass and the schedule goes live, you'll receive an email from Sched.com inviting you to create an account/profile. Remember, each pass must be associated with a unique name and email. This means you, your spouse, friend/additional attendees may not create a schedule under the same name.

If you've already got an account with Sched.com, your account will be linked to your purchased pass. If you are hearing that class registration is up but you haven't received an email from Sched.com, make sure you check your spam folder for your ticket confirmation. If you’re still not seeing it, access the Eventbrite help center here.

Where can I find/create my schedule?
To view your schedule, once released and you have already selected your sessions, log in here. Make sure you use the same email you purchased your ticket under. You can also click on your profile picture in the navigation menu, which will take you to your profile page and schedule.

Additional guidance on confirming your ticket type is available here.

How do I sign up for SUP Yoga?
Premium classes require an additional ticket unless you are a Full Access 4 day pass holder, and you must be a multi day pass holder in order to book (i.e. this class type is not a single drop in class). In order to add this class type, you must first purchase a SUP ticket. You will then be able to go back into your schedule and add your chosen session.

I am having trouble adding/changing classes and keep getting an error message.
Each ticket is limited to a certain amount of classes. Prior to changing into a new class, make sure you withdraw from the class you’d like to switch from. If you’re still having problems, reach out to us at info@mammothyogafestival.com with specific details. If you are trying to add a premium class (i.e. SUP/AIReal), you must purchase a separate ticket in order to add these premium classes. 4 day passes come with one complimentary premium class of your choice.

What if I arrive late to class?
We greatly value the experience of all attendees and presenters. As such, once sessions begin and doors close, in order to respect those in session, late arrivals will not be admitted. We encourage you to have a Plan B/sign up for an alternate session if you feel you might not make it on time and appreciate attendees remaining respectful to event staff.

Refund Policy
All ticket sales are final and non refundable. No refunds will be issued for any reason including, but not limited to; weather, epidemic, fire, action of the elements, governmental order or order of any other legally constituted authority, act of God or the public enemy, war, riot or any other reason beyond Mammoth Yoga Festival’s control (collectively ‘Force Majeure’). You are free to transfer your tickets or resell them at face value or less.

Ticket Transfers
Tickets can be transferred to another attendee. To transfer your ticket to another person simply login to your Eventbrite Attendee account. Click the “My Tickets” tab, followed by “View your Order” to edit your ticket. Enter the name and email address of the person you would like to transfer your ticket to and press “Save” to automatically transfer your class schedule to the new attendee!

For more info on how to transfer your ticket, and/or for additional assistance, you may access the Eventbrite Help Center here.

What should I bring?
Please bring your yoga mat and any additional needed props (i.e. meditation cushion/back jack chair, mat towel, block(s), strap(s), blanket(s), etc...). Make sure you bring a water bottle to hydrate, sunglasses, sunscreen, and clothing for any weather. Mammoth can be unpredictable this time of year!

Can I bring my own Stand Up paddle board for SUP Yoga?
No. paddle boards for SUP Yoga are provided and designed specifically for SUP Yoga. Additionally, equipment is set up specifically to provide smooth class experiences and and transitions between sessions.

Why are we practicing in conference rooms on carpet?
The use of conference rooms at yoga festivals and conferences is standard across the globe. We are working with the best available options in order to provide ample indoor space that accommodates the large numbers of students in attendance. This is a prime opportunity for Yogis to tap more deeply into the practice of shifting perspective, move past distraction/expectation, and learn how to flow with the stream.

Is this event kid friendly?
All free community classes welcome families with children. Our main Festival event classes are 18+. However, children ages 14+ are welcomed and must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of entire sessions.

Why are classes not marked beginner/intermediate/advanced?
One of MYF’s main missions is to create an inclusive environment in which Yogis of all levels, whether novice or seasoned, may experience a class that is accessible, challenges everyone at their individual level, and invites in additional awareness. Our presenters have been carefully selected and invited to teach at MYF because they have demonstrated the capability to see every single student in the room and meet them exactly where they are in both body and mind. We encourage attendees to practice with honesty as to where they are both physically and emotionally and choose the specific postural adjustments and/or progressions that serve their unique range of motion and practice level.

Will there be food?
Yes. Food vendors will be available. While we try to accommodate dietary restrictions, we cannot guarantee perfection. So, please plan ahead if necessary. Our vendor booths will be listed on our exhibitor page and a list of restaurants may be found here.

How far is lodging from activity?
Most lodging facilities in Mammoth are less than 2 miles away and complimentary public transportation is offered and runs from 9:00am to 6:00pm. Find the Summer schedule here. Check out our Lodging & Camping pages for exact mileage from each of our lodging partner locations.

Is there RV Parking available?
In most on-site lots, yes. Again, we highly recommend utilizing Mammoth's public transit system. A short list of RV Parks (with and without hookups) is available on our Camping page.

Where do I check in?
Check in/registration is located in The Village at Mammoth just outside/across from Side Door Cafe & Gomez’s restaurant..

What if it rains?
The weather in Mammoth Lakes can be super unpredictable, however this is a rain or shine event. Events may be held regardless of weather conditions as determined by venue operators and management. Where events are held outdoors, the risk of weather conditions is assumed by the Attendee. Mammoth Yoga Festival may modify the terms of this Agreement and reserves the right to do so at any time.

Where do I park?
We highly recommend taking Mammoth's complimentary public transportation for all sessions inside of running hours. For sessions taking place in outdoor locations, street and on-site parking are available. However, you will want to arrive early to be sure you make your session on time. Summers in Mammoth can be crowded, and the early bird gets the worm! Early morning parking will be much easier than late afternoon/evening.
