Old Shady Rest Campground | 1.6m from The Village at Mammoth | 1.3m from the Community Recreation Center (CRC)
Old Shady Rest Campground is a large facility convenient to many activities and is within walking distance of the Mammoth Lakes community. The campground is popular for hiking, mountain biking and sightseeing. The campsites are located under the canopy of a Jeffery pine forest at an elevation of 7,800 feet. Many species of wildlife call the mountains home. Bear-proof lockers are available, and firewood may be bought on-site. 

New Shady Rest Campground | 1.6m from The Village at Mammoth | 1m from CRC
New Shady Rest Campground is a large facility convenient to numerous outdoor activities and attractions in the eastern Sierra Nevada Mountains. The campground is popular for hiking, mountain biking, sightseeing and hitting the adjacent town of Mammoth Lakes for shopping and dining. The facility accommodates both tents and RVs.

Pine Glen Campground | 1.0m from The Village at Mammoth | 1.5m from CRC
Pine Glen is a group camping facility located in the eastern sierra Nevada Mountains, within walking distance of the full-service community of Mammoth Lakes. Popular for families and large groups of up to 30 people, the campground has access to a variety of activities from fishing and mountain biking to hiking and photography, near some of the most spectacular scenery in the Sierras. The campsites are located under the shady canopy of a mature Jeffrey Pine forest.

Twin Lakes Campground | 3.6m from The Village at Mammoth | 4.6m from CRC
Three loops with 93 sites total are located in the heart of the Mammoth Lakes Basin. Great for families, RV campers and tent campers alike. Amenities for fishers include boat rentals and fish cleaning stations. All sites are an easy walk to the lakeshore, general store, Lakefront Restaurant and paved bike path and minutes away from the Village at Mammoth.

Coldwater Campground | 4.9m from The Village at Mammoth | 6m from CRC
One of Mammoth Lake's largest and well-liked campgrounds is located on a forested hillside at 8,900 feet elevation above Lake Mary in the Mammoth Lakes Basin. 79 sites have space for 25-30 foot RVs or two cars, but bear in mind that they are on a slope. Visitors can walk to creeks, trailheads, a historic mining site, Lake Mary and the paved Lake Mary Loop Road, which is popular for fishing, boating and family bike rides. The town of Mammoth Lakes and The Village at Mammoth are a five minute drive away. 

Lake Mary Campground | 4.8m from The Village at Mammoth | 6m from CRC
Lake Mary is the star of the Mammoth Lakes region. Of the 11 lakes in the area, Mary is the largest and most developed. Lake Mary Campground is a large facility with plenty of amenities in and around it, and the lake provides a great base for activities like fishing, viewing waterfalls, hiking and backpacking.
